~HayOnWyeTreeHugger here - and seeing the funky icons dA has given us today I was reminded that today is the first of April! Happy april fools everyone!

Just a little update from Mikey Way, then onto the contest:

Hello to all,

The other day, I was given the new Drive By record by my dear friend Todd Price. For those of you who are unfamiliar , he sings and plays guitar in the band. I had been eagerly awaiting this record quite some time. Their initial release floored me. It's everything about music that I love. Amazing and honest rock songs. Todd has the uncanny knack to write the kind of chorus that I'm jealous. Upon listening to their record "A Delicate Situation" I was knocked on my ass once again, and I expected nothing less. If this band isn't gigantic by the end of the year, then there's no justice in the world.. On april 8th, " A Delicate Situation" in released and I recommend you all make a B line to the record store and grab one. The songs are sure to be ingrained in your skull for quite some time.

Contest ::

Well, having been reminded that it is now April you should know that it is just 9 days until Gerard Way's birthday! One year older!

Obviously, this is too short a deadline for the proper contest, but I hve thought of having a contest that runs to the end of next month or similar, where we all create something - a picture, a piece of writing (but submission rules still apply - no Freard of similar or photomanips if the photo does not belong to you) for Gerards birthday (albiet a little late).

So comment in if you are interested in entering, and note if you are interested in judging and/or offering a prize. Thanks!

    Joining a club means you watch the club and look at the artwork submitted, and you in turn can submit your own artwork to the club. A club will also run contests and such.
